Ringo | After my bot sends 51 and receves 0x51 pass, it receves 0x4A right after it then closes my connection when i send 0x3A or 0x14. This is the receved packet data: FF 4A 16 00 49 58 38 36 45 78 74 72 61 57 6F 72 6B 2E 6D 70 71 00 .J..IX86ExtraWork.mpq. Anyone have any idea what this packet is, and what i should send in responce? (i noticed bnet doscs doesnt list this packet) thanks in advance guys! | December 12, 2004, 12:49 PM |
shadypalm88 | Erm, I don't know why you (or I) have permission to post here, but I don't think we should. You should actually post in the main Battle.net Bot Development board. To answer your question anyway, you know when you upgrade an official client (e.g. SC/BW), it asks you if you'd like to send system information to Blizzard? IX86ExtraWork.mpq contains the code that actually does this. As far as I know, you can safely ignore this packet. | December 12, 2004, 6:57 PM |
R.a.B.B.i.T | Hypothesis: Blizzard might tell clients to download files. It's possible considering the packet's format: (STRING) FILENAME Not much to it. | December 14, 2004, 1:29 AM |
Soul Taker | Ug, there's a topic on this with almost the same subject on this same page. | December 14, 2004, 12:35 PM |
