LaRVa | This should be easy for you. 4 equal pieces logic puzzle Using only straight lines, cut this figure into 4 pieces that are all the same size and shape. There are two solutions to it. R.a.B.B.i.T |
Just by eyeballing it, I'd have to say: 1 line from upper-left vertex to midpoint of bottom line 1 line from upper-right vertex to midpoint of bottom line 1 line perpendicular to the upper and lower lines from the midpoints
Could be wrong, because I don't particularly care for geometry, but whatver. | December 12, 2004, 5:47 PM |

iago | The white fuzz around the edge messes me up -- is that included in your measurements? | December 12, 2004, 7:05 PM |
LaRVa | The white dots around the trapezoid isn't part of the puzzle. Sorry to confuse anyone. R.a.B.B.i.T got one solution! (this one only took three lines) Here is the pic to the solution, don't click if you don't want. (I uploaded to IS, lmao) http://img6.exs.cx/img6/8261/puzc2t11ki.gif EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot, the straight lines can be diagonal, not just vertical or horizontal. The lines have no limit in length, but need to be straight. | December 13, 2004, 1:15 AM |
