Wolf | You want to control tempature readings...NO PROBLEM... http://www.ibutton.com if you go to the web site, look up tempature control sensors, you can get them there from Dallas Semiconductor. I have made a program before that can desplay an update of the tempature sensor. One day I was feeling really bored, so I had a tempature sensor and a shitload of wire. I put electrical tape to the wires and hooked them up to an ibutton (1 wire) tempature logger. From there I hooked it up to my serial port. I took the sensor and threw it outside in the cold (sinse I live in Canada) and built a program for it. I made the program convert all the pulsing values from all the 1 wire connections I had to Celecious and linked it into my bot which idled the tempature I had outside. It was a nice thing to play with before I gave all the stuff back to my friend. I'm telling you 1 Wire connections are truly remarkable. ;D | April 3, 2003, 11:07 PM |
