I have conditioned my body to minimize the amount of time needed to defecate. I can usually accomplish the task in less than 1 minute (including paperwork). This reduces the amount of time I must spend away from my computers.
I hope you are doing all the necessary paper work and not cutting corners with it.

I generally just grunt a few turds out, but I have been known to take a snack in there with me. Like if we have some teddy grams, or cookies laying around ill grab a few, or if I am in the middle of eating some pizza or something (not dinner), Ill take my plate with me.

I don't read on the can, I tend to get in and get out, however I think more clearly when I'm emptying my bowels.
A lot of people thing it is nasty. but I don't think it is so bad. I mean I just sit down and eat, I mean I am not nibbling after the paper work until my hands are washed. Boiled peanuts are good when you are on the pot.

I go once a day for 25-30 minutes and my hand is usually sore when I am done. I am to poor for reading material so I just close my eyes and hope I see something good looking.

2-15 minutes. Usually depends on the quality available reading material and what awaits me after I'm done.

Reading material ranges from English class books to Clancy novels to PC Gamer or PC World.

You still read PC Gamer? They seemed to get kinda crappy a few years ago (like when somebody had the bright idea to take all the people who drove PC Accelerator into the ground and put them in charge of PC Gamer) so I killed my subscription.

Mine varies, usually it's a book on programming, or lately electronics, but I also have a GBA with flashcart, so it poses a great threat to books. My time varies from bout 5 minutes to 30, depending on how much spicy food intake I've had, and how interested I am with my book/gba.
