Heh. Relax, Chris Leak will be all that soon enough and you won't feel the need to look down on other second-tier teams. Hope he gets some help on the line soon. Unfortunately, this is going to be the worst year for the Gators since pre-Spurrier.

Chris Leak passed for 2435 yards, 16 TDs, 11 INTS (QB rating: 132.9)
B.J. Symons passed for 5833 yards, 52 TDs, 22 INTS (QB rating: 151.3)

Almost 2.4x the yards, 3.25x the TDs, and yes, 2x the INTS, but before you start crowing about that...

Chris Leak: 1 INT every 29 attempts...
B.J. Symosn: 1 INT every 33 attempts...

a) Leak did not plan on starting the entire year.
b) Leak = Freshman. Symons = Senior. Can you say experience?
c) An interception with a spread of 4 attempts? Thats conclusive evidence of any sort of talent?
d) How did Tech end up ranked? How did the Gators end up ranked?

As far as d) goes, that's completely irrelevant to this discussion. Rankings are very biased towards teams with more history, anyway. What was your ending record last year? What was ours? I think you'll find those are very similar.

In fact, our only common opponent defeated you in the Swamp, the week after we had just finished beating them on the road.

I don't think anyone is trying to say that Texas Tech is yet playing at Florida's level consistently. TCU began this season unranked. If you would have pulled your head out of your ass for 5 minutes, you would've realized that.

And of course, I realize that Florida is a better overall program than ours, I will not say they were better or worse than we were last year, because we didn't meet on the field.
