Ok. Im going to try my best to make this tut.

I know this WORKED on Gunbound befor GIS patched it, but I do not think Nprotect did. So it should work on Lineage. (but after new Gameguard update)

1. Back up The REV files for gameguard. Lineage 2/System/Gameguard

2. Download abyss web server, I got mine from here. http://www.tucows.com/preview/256426.html

3. Configure it, Get the key (its free) make a username and pass to connect to the server.

4. Create following folders in the Web Server (Windows XP = C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs\

\Gameguard\webzen\Engserver\
\nProtect\GameGuard\RealServer\

5. Copy the REV files found in the Lineage 2/System/Gameguard
into the directory u created.
\Gameguard\webzen\Engserver\
and
\nProtect\GameGuard\RealServer\

6. Now go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Open the hosts file and add theses lines.
127.0.0.1 update.nprotect.com
127.0.0.1 update.nprotect.net
127.0.0.1 guard.gunbound.net

The 127.0.0.1 is your local IP. U can always change the IP to download the files from another sevrer.

When u save the host file, right click it and make it read only.

7. Delete the Gameguard Folder in the Lineage, system directory.

Now the REV files should download from your computer rather then the Nprotect website.

make sure u have Abyss Web Server started, befor u start.

Now. Im not 100% sure this works (YET) i will know once Nprotect updates the REV files.

But I think it should. Ths will be a bypass for future updates of Nprotect.
