I was working on check outs at McDonalds today(I started a few days ago) and a woman came up and asked"Can I have 2 plain McDonalds please" I asked if she meant Happy Meals, but no she repeated "Can I have 2 plain McDonalds please". It took 5 minutes to get through to her that we sell different items and not the stores, she meant hamburgers. I cant believe how stupid people are.

Hahaha. I'd like 2 McDonalds. Lmao.

Btw, I would've guessed at her wanting Big Mac's, thought that was the most common McDonalds burger sold.

Hmm, strange, Big Mac is one of the smaller burgers? I hardly ever see any grown person eat a plain hamburger. Big men might eat a Big Mac + a cheeseburger.

Apart from Big Tasty Big Mac is the largest, my dad has a Big Mac plus a Chees burger, I usually have a Quater Pounder with Cheese, Large Fries, Large Sprite and a hamburger, occasionally 2 hamburgers if im hungry.

The Big Mac isn't very large. It's just two regular patties. I'd say the Double Quarter Pounder is the largest. It has two quarter beef patties! The Big N' Tasty (which no one ever orders) is just as big as the normal Quarter Pounder, which isn't the largest.

Big N' Tasty is pretty good.

I've never heard of the "big n tasty", and I haven't been to mcdonalds in over 2 months.

There was a guy who did an experiment of eating McDonalds SuperSize for every meal in a day. The result being he became obese and medical cheifs made McDonalds ban it in all stores. I cant see how they have a just case because if you eat anything of a certain type of food you will get bad health.

The buttons are labelled with the item name and also show the associated number. No, there is no "McDonalds" button under the menu, but if you really wanted to you could just tell the kitchen yourself that you want them to make a McDonalds.

I usually just have a big mac + mdcium fries. But I avoid McDonalds generally.

I guess this all boils down to namebrand-word-association, "One of the subtler threats to this nation's free trade!" (-Randel Graves, Clerks cartoon). It's like Band-aids, Kleenix, and many other things that I can't think of any more of right now. Maybe she associates McDonalds with Hamburger.

I avoid McDonalds but when I do go, I usually order either a Big Xtra, or Mc Chicken.

I used to go to McDonald's to only eat the #7 (at the time, it was crispy chicken deluxe), and then go to Wendy's or Burger King for hamburgers. However, now Burger King offers a comporable chicken sandwhich (as opposed to the crap one they used to have), which is basically identical to McDonald's, except bigger. Coupling that with my opinion that Burger King fries are far, far better than McDonald's, I can't see myself ever going back.

The button says lik QTR Pounder then when you press it codes are displayed representing large meals etc with a number by them. You then press the number they want.

I like Wendy's fries and BK's burgers.

The closest mcdonalds is 5 minutes away, the closest burger king is about 20. I tend to eat at mcdonalds.

Burger King is too expensive, and if you work at McDonalds you get a discount card for when you go to other stores so you get a discount.

I'd be so happy if every McDonald's spontaneously vapourised.

Frosties are the best beverage (I guess it is a beverage) made for burgers.

I never can go wrong with a sprite or Diet Coke, but when I have had takeaways Lager is a nice beverage with it.

In my opinion, Taco Bell is better for fast food on a budget. Nothing on the Big Bell menu is more than $1.29, iirc.

I went on drive thru today, it rocked, I actually got to sit down for 10 mins with out interruption. YAY, Im transfering McDonalds so I can live with ym dad.

Are the drive thru's there on the opposite side, too?

When I lived in Kansas the McDonalds on my way to work had the drive through window on the opposite side of the car and they ran the food over to it witha conveyor belt. Seems like so much trouble when it really didn't do anything but make things even more difficult when you're the only person in the car.

Cars in Briatain have steering wheels on the right side of the car, oposite to you so the customer is the right side to pass food out.

The McDonalds in Alaska is the best :). Their drive through are for snowmobiles.

McDonald's fries are ewwy and their burgers are really small, and something about their patties... They reuse the ones they don't serve IIRC. But besides that, a lot of times they're stale or incredibly soggy in oil. Burger King fries are always great, and never stale or soggy. I love their fries compared to anyone else because they're not like anyone elses. They have some sort of batter on the outside I think, and they're crispy. :)

But have you people ever been to In-N-Out? They have a far better food ethic than any other fast food restaraunt. At least when you eat there you know you're actually getting decently healthy food. And their burgers are good, but their fries are questionable by some who don't like really potato-like fries. :P

As you know we cant test fries to see if they are stale but if your unhappy we will give you fresh ones. If your not happy query us. Oil cant be helped on burgers etc.

Is that true? Fries from McDonalds are stale in 25-50% of the cases here. They throw away old burgers though, on some timed schedule.

We have the timed schedule for burgers but we cant keep track of fries. We arnt aloud to eat them either so we cant tell if theyre stale. McDonalds will change them though if they arnt up to standards that you expect.
