peofeoknight | Lol, it will fast. The only way to patch ie is to ditch it IMO. The active x controls are terrible and ie is a terrible browser for supporting them. | August 3, 2004, 8:19 PM |
St0rm.iD | yeah, ie is one of the worst pieces of software ever created. | August 3, 2004, 10:22 PM |
Grok |
yeah, ie is one of the worst pieces of software ever created.
By what standards and criteria? Nevermind, I don't believe you have the requirements specification for IE, so cannot possibly judge whether it was written excellently to specifications. Instead, after it is written, you are attempting to add other requirements which were not asked for up front. On that basis, all software is total crap, because no software can meet every requirement (to be added later), during development. Besides, you obviously have never heard of Windows 3.1 :p Now there's a hunk of junk! | August 4, 2004, 12:57 AM |
LW-Falcon | Good thing I don't use IE anymore :) | August 4, 2004, 1:16 AM |
Yoni | IE 6 was the best two years ago. It's no longer up to par. Firefox > IE. | August 4, 2004, 5:53 AM |
Arta | Agreed. | August 4, 2004, 6:01 PM |
crankycefx | I like Opera better, myself. Though, Firefox is kinda sexy. I use IE at work everyday, and go home to Opera. the difference is there only if you want it to be :P | August 5, 2004, 1:04 PM |

IE could have met requirements, but its security is so bad, and it takes up so much memory, it's bloatware. | August 5, 2004, 2:46 PM |
