hismajesty | I'm trying to do this test thing (for fun) that requires me to change some values within the program. It's packed with Petite, so I figured I'd just use an unpacker and unpack it. Well, it seems extra protection has been added so that when I attempt to load it into the unpacker it results in a file i/o error. My friend unpacked it and sent it to me, of course, he either went afk or ignored me as soon as it finished transfering. So, I have no idea how he got around the extra protection or how to fix the type mismatch I get when trying to run the unpacked version of the exe. Also, when I disassmeble the unpacked exe I still can't seem to find the values I need to modify. Thanks for any help :) | August 1, 2004, 5:55 PM |

iago | Note that any packed program has the ability to unpack itself. Have a look at the startup code and figure out how it does that :) | August 3, 2004, 2:54 AM |
