Drok | A friend of mine has always had trouble using SphtBot. I've talked him into downloading it again. It used to just disconnect him randomly. That's seemed to fix itself, now it refuses to see the plugins. And when he tries to /listplugins and /loadplugin it says they're not Battle.net commands. | July 30, 2004, 3:32 AM |
LW-Falcon | He needs the Visual C++ 7 runtime files http://www.valhallalegends.com/files/vc7_crt.zip Extract it and put the 2 files in the bot folder. | July 30, 2004, 3:45 AM |
Spht |
A friend of mine has always had trouble using SphtBot. I've talked him into downloading it again. It used to just disconnect him randomly. That's seemed to fix itself, now it refuses to see the plugins. And when he tries to /listplugins and /loadplugin it says they're not Battle.net commands.
Some people think that the "Disconnected from Battle.net logon server" message that goes off after you're connected to Battle.net means they've been disconnected from Battle.net. But that's just a notification that the BNLS connection was dropped (normal). I might remove that notification in the next release. As for the plugin problem, it does sound like he's missing the Visual C++ 7 runtimes (as Falcon suggested). Installation instructions are here: http://www.valhallalegends.com/spht/SphtBotv3/?id=2#Requirements | July 30, 2004, 3:52 AM |
Maddox | That is why I like to close the connection with BNLS myself so I can determine whether the connection was closed by inactivity or an error. | July 30, 2004, 4:30 AM |
