LordNevar | http://www.blizzhackers.com/viewtopic.php?t=181542 Just thought the members of [vL] would like to know what people think of them :) | July 27, 2004, 1:04 PM |
Grok | Paul seems like a very good moderator. His posts are intelligent and he runs his forums well. I like him already. | July 27, 2004, 1:15 PM |
LordNevar | They do moderate there forum pretty well, they just need to watch there members more closely. There's way too much spam than there is any information worth anything. I've been a member of that forum since it's creation, but over the last year or so it's gone slowly down hill. | July 27, 2004, 1:36 PM |
Hitmen | Not to generalize, but blizzhackers is filled with a handful of intelligent people, and about 76,500 clueless newbies. | July 27, 2004, 2:11 PM |
Arta | What exactly is a "clientless bot"? Isn't that like saying a clientless client? Eh? | July 27, 2004, 2:24 PM |
LordNevar | Good question, but what was meant to be said was a bot that could create a game on d2 without the program itself running, basically he has no idea of the real term "bot" and what they do. | July 27, 2004, 2:53 PM |
iago | Wow, there are a lot of dumb people there. I forget how good we have it here where people are forced to either use proper spelling/grammar or are rediculed and eventually leave. Reading that thread gave me a headache. | July 27, 2004, 7:56 PM |

[/quote] They are talking about a bot that doesn't require the game in order to work. D2JSP, for example, attached to the Diablo II process in order to call functions from the game. A clientless bot might provide the same functionality without requiring Diablo II to be running or even installed. | July 27, 2004, 11:30 PM |

Hitmen | They aren't the most techincally-minded people in the world, give 'em a break. On second though, laughing at them is more fun. Please continue. | July 28, 2004, 12:15 AM |
KoRRuPT | I'm assuming the members of vL really don't care what others think of them... | July 28, 2004, 12:25 AM |

iago | I don't care what people think of me. But I feel bad about telling people to go to hell. Although messing with people is fun :) | July 28, 2004, 3:27 AM |
