We as admins and moderators have become relaxed in the past few months, and that is our fault. But you as participants have reduced our forums to the least-common-denominator.

We are starting to moderate more aggressively again.

Heed:
* If you are going to say something that would probably get you punched in the mouth in person, do not say it.
* That is, no personal attacks. If you are in a debate, you may attack the position or statement someone makes, but not the person making it. If you need to attack the person, you are not the type of forum participant we want here.

Some Advice:
* If you decide to join a 'debate'-type conversation, have the courtesy to respond to your adversary's points. Do not expect anyone to care about your position unless you show you care about their position.
* Proof-read. If your grammar is weak, and/or your spelling is weak, proofreading can help you get your message across better. Read it out loud as if you did not write it. Fix then post.

Our forums are presented by Valhalla Legends members, and as such, we invite interesting, different, divergent viewpoints, opinions, and conversation. The more you know about a subject and are willing to share, the more welcome you probably are here! Conversely, the less you know about subjects and are willing to share, the less welcome you are here.

It relates to everything. We had a discussion about it, and realized that there is far too much crap here over the past little while, but no particular instances were named.
