Guys, when I looked at the source leaked I instantly realized it was mine-- mine was different from everyone elses for distinct reasons. (function naming)

It leaked because RealVNC was running for a week while I was gone with a password of "1234". I should have closed it, but my apologies to all of the people who worked with me on the project.

If anyone knows who bruteforced the session password to get in my computer, please let me know A.S.A.P!

Userloser, I'm unsure as of now if the intruder stole your dll, it was located in my /system32/ folder. I don't know if they noticed it, it doesn't appear that they did.

If he doesn't have his security settings set right it wont lockout. Windows is set with lockout turned off by default.
It really sucks that someone stole something you worked so hard on. I hope you figure out who it was. But, what can you really do to them.

... It's not that big of a deal. The War3 hashing functions had to be leaked some time and iirc, they were intended to be from the start. The only real questions were who'd be the idiot to take the blame and the flame, when it would happen, where it would happen, and why it would happen.

Not to belittle the serious lameness of releasing someone's source code without permission, but a good portion of it (if not all) was intended to be released eventually anyway. Furthermore, I think the fact that it was done speaks highly of the group that accomplished it. Goes to show that with a few months, even those of us who aren't experts at reversing can turn out a desirable project. I know Madd0x, UserLoser, iago, TheMinistered, and Arta (and anyone else I forgot) all worked hard on turning Warcraft III's logon into something that everyone could use. So while I think that GosuGaming made the wrong choice to release this to the public, I hope that the project itself reflects the abilities of the people in this community.

Whoever gave it to him obviously used him as a way to release it without receiving any blame because I highly doubt anyone who already had the War3 hashing functions would be stupid enough to give it to someone like GoSuGaMiNG without some reasoning behind it.
