Newby | Saw an infomercial on it, and decided to try the demo. It actually *worked*. My reading speed went from 420 -> 495 http://www.eyeq.tv/ Any comments on it? | June 30, 2004, 10:39 PM |
hismajesty | Mine increased from 457 -> 572 | July 1, 2004, 12:00 AM |
Adron | It claims to increase 2 to 10 times. If you start at 457, you should get somewhere between 914 and 4570. | July 1, 2004, 3:47 PM |
LW-Falcon | 284 => 442 | July 1, 2004, 5:30 PM |
Naem | Who cares? This doesn't deal at all with reading comprehension. If you're reading twice as fast you're going to not remember very many specific details about what you just read. | July 1, 2004, 8:00 PM |
Hostile | Yes, I started out at 381 and went up to 412. Well... needless to say its a much short reading fragment so its multiplying how many words per minute you're actually reading by about four and has no regard to reading endurance or accuracy. I doubt you could keep up that pace AND comprehend what the hell if going on. On top of this its often mind over matter too, I'm sure a couple of you subconcously went to click the spacebar a bit faster to really improve on your reading. As for me.... Well I think my increase mainly came from those annoying consistant clicks waking me up. :-\ | July 2, 2004, 2:53 AM |
hismajesty | Did anyone think the second passage was an easier read? Perhaps it was setup to make the product look better. | July 2, 2004, 3:35 AM |

St0rm.iD | anyone else thought of the possibility it makes up the answer at the end? someone try it; i dont want to sit thru it anymore | July 2, 2004, 3:55 AM |
LW-Falcon | Tried it, 365 => 46. I just let it run and went to eat. | July 2, 2004, 4:13 AM |
Adron | I went from 814 to 392. The final story was less straight-forward, which has a much much larger effect on reading speed than how fast you can move your eyes. | July 2, 2004, 7:57 AM |
Fr0z3N | 490 -> 728 | July 3, 2004, 12:14 AM |
