R.a.B.B.i.T | A few people in DK and SBs and I are just wondering how Yoni is pronounced. I didn't post this in the Trash-Can because I figured Yoni would probably see it here. Is it "Yawn-ee", "Yann-ee", "Yann-eye", "Yawn-eye", or something else? I'm very curious..well..not really.. [edit] Just so it's math: What's 2+i^(10^33)? Eh...whatever... | June 10, 2004, 2:37 AM |
iago | I've always assumed it's Yo Knee, but I've also heard it said Yawn-ee. ButI like Yo Knee | June 10, 2004, 3:10 AM |
SNiFFeR | I've always pronounced it as yawn-ee (Like it matters though). iago: hehe and while we're on the topic, I pronouce yours as i-go (even though I know it's not correct :p Silent A!). | June 10, 2004, 3:39 AM |
Hitmen | "Yo Knee" is what I've always though as well, I don't see where the Ya* sound would come from.
How dare you disgrace the pronounciation of yago's name! | June 10, 2004, 3:45 AM |

R.a.B.B.i.T | At long last ><!! THE ANSWER!! Also, I've always pronounced iago as "yah-go"..but I could be wrong (probably). | June 12, 2004, 10:04 PM |
hismajesty | I thought it was Yo-Knee as well. Rabbit: iagos name IS pronounced yah-go. I pronounced it eye-a-go on TeamSpeak and he corrected me. Ever since then I've called him yago and people (Hitmen) are copying me. >:( | June 12, 2004, 10:07 PM |

hismajesty | I always pronounced it "Awww-dren." I probably did that wrong too making me 0 for 3. :( | June 16, 2004, 11:16 AM |

Arta | same here | June 16, 2004, 2:07 PM |
Adron | I'm not that good at phonetics. Someone who's heard me say Adron could probably write it down. | June 16, 2004, 3:18 PM |
The-Rabid-Lord | Id say it a bit like Add-On sounds. but with an r. | June 16, 2004, 3:35 PM |
crashtestdummy | Add- ron | June 16, 2004, 5:49 PM |
Adron | Hmm. The way I say it in Swedish isn't really like add-on, unless add-on doesn't sound the way I say it :P I'm having trouble finding anything in English that sounds the same actually. | June 16, 2004, 9:04 PM |
LW-Falcon | I pronounce it a-drone. | June 16, 2004, 9:16 PM |
I take it your swedish. Is it a proper name Adron, or made up?
I believe it's a combination of his first and last name. I haven't had a reason to pronounce Adron yet, so this should be fun, let me give it a try... I can't really tell you what I said without using phonetic characters, but it was along the lines of ade-r-on. | June 16, 2004, 10:48 PM |
j0k3r | Find me on MSN/AIM, and use your mic to say it, I can type it out. | June 16, 2004, 11:47 PM |
