Celica | Isnt MCP UDP? Or is it TCP? | December 28, 2002, 3:55 PM |
MesiaH | tcp IIRC, but i dont play or have anything to do with those super lame diablo games... | December 28, 2002, 8:32 PM |
Yoni | Everything related to Diablo 2 and Battle.net is TCP/IP. | December 29, 2002, 8:12 PM |
Grok | Are you sure? <grin> | December 29, 2002, 8:17 PM |
Yoni | Yes. I think so. Hmm. No. :( What'd I forget? | December 29, 2002, 8:20 PM |
Grok | ICMP? | December 29, 2002, 8:25 PM |
Yoni | Blizzard's Diablo 2 client uses ICMP? | December 29, 2002, 8:30 PM |
Yoni | Hmm... I did forget DNS though, which is probably UDP. :o | December 29, 2002, 8:30 PM |
Grok | When you "fps" in game, does it not show ping? | December 29, 2002, 9:53 PM |
MesiaH | grok is so wise :P | December 29, 2002, 11:18 PM |
Skywing |
When you "fps" in game, does it not show ping?
That could be from a ping-like message in their protocol, similar to how Starcraft/Battle.net Chat do ping, rather than ICMP. | December 30, 2002, 8:57 AM |
Yoni |
When you "fps" in game, does it not show ping?
Mine shows nothing. Never figured out why. :( | December 30, 2002, 10:25 AM |
Zakath | Yoni, maybe Blizzard doesn't like you. I still have that screenshot of the totally screwed up graphics from the War3 demo! ;D | December 30, 2002, 1:47 PM |
Yoni | lol :) That was the Voodoo Banshit's fault. I've gotten a better graphics card since, and Warcraft 3 runs fine now. I think Diablo 2 worked better (and the fps command worked) with the old card though... But it would freeze the entire system every few hours, or few minutes in some places. | December 31, 2002, 6:26 PM |
Noodlez | sky = correct | December 31, 2002, 9:07 PM |
Etheran | I used to use a Voodoo Banshit...I got like 25 fps in Quake3 :( | January 1, 2003, 3:33 AM |
Yoni | It caused my computer to freeze every 2-3 days too. ::) It's still in my closet. Anyone want it? | January 1, 2003, 1:42 PM |
zorm | Does it fly well like a frisbee? | January 1, 2003, 3:36 PM |
