Grok |
What commands do you people like to see in a bot?
Connect. Join. Leave. Ban. Kick. DIE. | May 21, 2004, 12:36 AM |
ChR0NiC |
Looks like I left out a lot of info. I got a text box, and a listbox. Since " Clipboard.SetText (List1), vbCFText " didnt work, I tryed to send the text from the listbox to text1. Then copy everything form text1. @ Gork: I'm not a programmer? Who made OuTLawZ BoT again? Oh ok then.

Also notice he referred to Grok as "Gork"

Holy crap, he said Gork! ahaha!
Make a command to make sure nobody misspells important names like Grok :P Edit: If Instr(Data, "Gork") = True Then Replace(Data, "Gork", "Grok") End If | May 21, 2004, 12:38 AM |
Eli_1 | Just put in commands you want in a bot; worry about others later. | May 21, 2004, 12:45 AM |
KkBlazekK | I already have all the commands except the DIE command; I called it quit instead. I added the infamous sayr. sayb, sayg, sayy commands... (sayred, sayblue ect.) | May 21, 2004, 1:08 AM |
hismajesty | If they're so infamous how come this is the first I've heard of them? | May 22, 2004, 1:25 AM |
Dyndrilliac | The prefix "in-" is being used to mean "not" in this case; I.E., "insecure" means "not secure". "infamous" = "not famous" :P ;D ;) | May 22, 2004, 6:19 AM |

Myndfyr |
What commands do you people like to see in a bot?
Back on-topic... As I have sad before I will say it again: if you don't know what features to program into your own bot, then why are you even making a bot in the first place? I started making a bot simply because I was too lazy to be on my clan's Shaman account all the time. I wanted something useful. Why are you wasting your time making a bot if you don't know what you want in it? Oh, and "infamous" != "not famous". It really means that you're famous in more of a negative light - notorious is a good word. From Dictionary.com: 1. Having an exceedingly bad reputation; notorious. 2. Causing or deserving infamy; heinous: an infamous deed. [edit] oh wow Sniffer, I didn't realize that you posted the same thing. Lmao. It's late, I'm running on 4 hours' sleep. Get off me. ;) [/edit] Anyway, my two cents. | May 22, 2004, 7:35 AM |

OuTLawZGoSu | Add a "Ban Dumbass" command to the bot. Would be useful ^^ Example of a Dumbass Below:
Make a command to make sure nobody misspells important names like Grok :P Edit: If Instr(Data, "Gork") = True Then Replace(Data, "Gork", "Grok") End If
| May 22, 2004, 4:54 PM |
