j0k3r | What do you guys do for a living? Do you enjoy it? If you're still in school what are you interested in? I'm a grade 11 student right now, looking to get into powerselling on ebay (if my geographical location permits it). I'm interested in computer security, database administration or something along those lines. I plan on falling back on being a stunt double, body guard, being a personal trainer, or something else physically demanding. I get money right now by selling D2 stuff to morons on ebay (over $1000 in the past 6 months, better than a real job where I live), and during the summer I might work as a monkey in the IT department for the company my dad works for. | May 19, 2004, 12:10 AM |
iago | I think the occupation was terrible, and the Cardassians should have stayed on their own goddamn planet instead of enslaving the Bajorans. | May 19, 2004, 12:11 AM |

I remember in 11th grade I worked at Chili's the restraunt and had around $2k in probably less than 6 months. | May 19, 2004, 1:04 PM |

The idea of a part time job is so that you work some of the time, not all of your free time, no one works over 5 hours/week. | May 19, 2004, 11:00 PM |

cipher | Wow, I'm really surprised that not more of you are involved in a computer-related field or are studying to be a computer engineer/scientist. It seems the bnet crowd takes programming as much more of a hobby than I expected. Me, I'll be going to Rensselaer Polytechnic in NY starting this August where I will hopefully complete a dual major in ECE and CS. I don't mean to say that what you guys have chosen is bad or not cool, I just always felt the majority of you were obsessed with computers and would therefore pursue it as a career and not just a great hobby. -cipher | May 20, 2004, 10:24 PM |
