Ok, well not really, but this has begun to bug me. "Sex appeal" has begun to appear in games such as Diablo 2, Lineage 2, Star Wars Galaxies, Guild wars, Everquest... the list goes on. Programmers seem to have nothing better to do than create "perfect girl" models in-game so to appeal to 12 year olds and give them something to jerk off to when they realize they suck at the game. Is all of this really needed? Maybe it's the only way to get people to play female characters...

I miss the good old games where you could play without some moron or 12 year old yelling "nice ass", or "your tits are nice" to a character I or someone in my proximity created in a damn video game. Porn is free and widely available now, you would think that the programmers would leave it up to the kids to find their own source of it? It makes me sick.

Lots of games mimic the attire of past cultures, in which people didn't wear the same things some people wear now.

Your complaining about sex appeal in games, yet you tried looking up a light elf's skirt?

Where did I say that I tried looking up her skirt? I never played a night elf in lineage 2, or a dark elf for that matter, it was through in-game chat that I learned this.

So, what did you learn that you see looking up her skirt? A faithful reproduction, or something blank?

An addition: The point I'd be trying to make is that if they haven't specifically modeled genitals, it's nothing special. Girls having thin waists and generous boobs in games just makes them look like barbie dolls.

Last I checked, barbie dolls weren't typically used by 12-year-olds to jerk off to. Unless they're lesbian?

Haha, if you have a sister perhaps.... I don't think most young boys would want to explain all the barbie dolls on their wishlist ;)

I do have a sister, but she was too old for barbies before that idea could really have had any merit :(

At the time, I didn't know that would have been a good idea. I'm not sure what happened to them, actually..
