Myndfyr | Maybe it belongs on the Fun Forum[sup]TM[/sup], maybe not. Does anyone else see something wrong with this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4124032764&c | April 23, 2004, 5:30 AM |
The-Rabid-Lord | Nice free cd-key :D. What a fool! | April 23, 2004, 6:01 AM |

iago | haha that's great. There's a store here (Electronics Boutique) that has the label of D2 and LoD displayed on used games. I wrote them down, haven't tried yet, though. | April 23, 2004, 1:11 PM |
hismajesty | When I first got on bnet (about 2 years ago with Warcraft II) they still put the label on the outside at KMart, I wish I had written them down and stuff since they don't do it anymore. :( | April 23, 2004, 2:48 PM |
K | Damn you people, stealing my secrets. I often search ebay for used games with pictures to try to harvest the keys. I actually found a Diablo 2 one much more obvious than that one, if you can believe it. Half-Life can give you pretty good results too. | April 23, 2004, 6:31 PM |
Adron | Half-life is better too, you can just register the key with steam and it's yours always. | April 23, 2004, 10:48 PM |
Networks | This may not be the correct place or any place but Could anyone please spare a CS key? *Begging* PM me it please if you can. | April 23, 2004, 11:10 PM |

synth | Half-Life is like $5. Seriously. And you get the mods (yes, that includes Counter-Strike) for free. IMHO, the cheap price of $5 is well worth the hassle of begging and searching for hours, days, weeks, or more. Have you thought of this, or do you disagree with me? | April 24, 2004, 12:58 AM |
Hitmen | Here's the only legible half-life related one I could find: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8101734715&rd=1 | April 24, 2004, 1:36 AM |
Mephisto | If you can't read the CD-Key why don't you make the image in paint (On WinXP) and use WinXP's little image organizer thingy majig and just zoom in on the CD-Key? Edit -> CD-Key: XYB2-FABG-JAL2-JEFG-5238 (the last number may be a '6' or '0') | April 24, 2004, 1:48 AM |
Hitmen | Zooming in generally causes image quality, especially in text, to degrade sharply. | April 24, 2004, 2:04 AM |
Zeller | I never even registered my cd key w/ steam. When it was released, the cd key authentication wasnt working. To test it out I installed steam on a friends computer who never had half-life installed and he is still able to log on to this date. | April 24, 2004, 2:08 AM |

Maddox | If you have Opera then zooming is built in. :-* | April 24, 2004, 4:30 AM |

j0k3r | I've never noticed that some people are that stupid, and I've been using ebay for quite awhile now. That is pretty funny. | April 24, 2004, 1:02 PM |
