You should be aware that any computer can be a server, all you need is the proper software. So how much for a cheap computer is the one time payment for a dedicated server. For speed, however, you have many options. You can use your cable internet at home, or get a corperate package. You can also send your server to some major backbone (co-location). | j0k3r | If you're looking for a game server host or a webhost, www.klan-host.us has been the best in my experience, great prices and impeccable service. If you're looking for a dedicated server, www.buzhost.com is a brother-site to klan-host.us, but you can get dedicated servers there, and you'll be paying atleast $60/month for a low end server, which isn't very good for playing games on. | April 23, 2004, 10:34 AM |
