i have a problem when my bot closes out it keeps the char logged in...is there a packet i need to send to mcp before quiting or do i just close the connection?

AFAIK, there is no logoff of character MCP packet. When you close your connection to Battle.net and/or MCP it should logoff your character automatically.
Perhaps your bot is not closing properly, check to see if it's still in your process list after closing it.

There's no way to get off a character unless you disconnect from the Battle.net chat server. By disconecting from the realm (or MCP), you may really not be logged onto the character anymore (I mean this because to join a game, a realm connection is required), but your statstring will still show the character and it's information in there.

how about when you leave the game do you have to tell the mcp server anything or will sending the packet 68 to the game do just what is needed?
