Naem | You're right, they both look like cats. | February 22, 2004, 7:55 AM |
MrRaza | Not that cat Spht, I meant your other cat Venus. | February 22, 2004, 2:31 PM |

Grok |
lol that cat dosen't look to pleased.
Did you ever own a cat and try to give him a bath? If he's not pleased, he sure wouldn't just stand there. | February 23, 2004, 11:49 AM |
Yes, and she never liked going anywhere near water, she would rather scratch your arms to hell then be anywhere near it, and if we actually got lucky enough to get her in the sink she gave a look something like that cat there and would hide behind our couch for the next 2days after. she was more a clean herself kind of cat. | February 23, 2004, 5:27 PM |

iago | I have a friend whose cats will actually go into the shower. But most cats don't like water. They do a pretty good job cleaning themselves, anyway, unlike dogs. Dogs are filthy. | February 23, 2004, 5:53 PM |

The-Rabid-Lord | I prefer dogs, I get scared of cats because these 2 cats stalk me on my paper round and try and attack me. :( Sphts cat looks cool though. | February 23, 2004, 7:57 PM |
Spht | Never had to wash any of my cats. They clean themselves, and one of my cats always wants to go outside when it's raining or snowing. | February 23, 2004, 10:00 PM |
MrRaza | My cat killed to mice last night and it just cleans himself, hopefully.... | February 23, 2004, 11:05 PM |
Grok | Hmmm your cat does not love you? Killing two mice and not giving one to you as a present is odd. Maybe one mouse is in your favorite chair for you to eat later? | February 23, 2004, 11:08 PM |
MrRaza | Not sure that made much sense, but he left both of them outside for my mom to find in the morning. :) | February 23, 2004, 11:55 PM |

Grok | Haha. Nice. Good kitty. MrRaza, on the other hand, doesn't understand cats. | February 24, 2004, 2:27 AM |
Hostile | My dog has cat tendancies. We've gone out for walks and hes carried dead field mice into it. Wouldn't have noticed but he spit it out for a treat, and the mouse's tail was hanging out of his mouth lol. On top of that, when he comes inside and rolls around trying to scratch his back or whatever he sounds like he might be trying to so a deep toned meow. :P Other then occationally putting dead mice in his mouth, spitting up a bunch of water after drinking too fast and leaving his toys around everywhere... hes a very clean dog in both aspects of keeping himself clean and his surroundings clean. As far as baths go, often more so in spring due to getting dirty water on him during walks but I only -need- to give him a bath maybe every 3 months + rare occations. I also don't give him a bath, which helps. I just put on swimtrunks and hop in the shower with him, its alot easier since its a walk in shower, and he has no where to run off to. | February 24, 2004, 3:07 AM |
j0k3r | You think your dog is cat like? My dog: Sleeps all day long Licks ALL the time Eats cat food (where available, he likes it better than dog food, we tried it last summer) Would rather lay in the sun than go on a walk Loves curling up on our lap (as much as a dog can curl up anyways) Is probably smaller than the average cat Will NOT touch water if he doesn't have to. He doesn't need washing that much either, doesn't go out very much. | February 24, 2004, 3:16 AM |
Spht | Someone should make an animal forum. People seem to enjoy talking about their pets. =P | February 24, 2004, 3:18 AM |
Grok | Hmm, both your posts lead me to believe Adron is correct. Cats are way smarter than dogs. Ever hear of cats emulating dogs? No, that would be a downgrade. Dogs apparently look up to cats and respect them, and try to be like them. | February 24, 2004, 3:19 AM |

Ever heard of a cat emulating a person? Trying to improve themself? No, that would be smart. Atleast dogs have the balls to admit it when they're wrong :P | February 24, 2004, 3:24 AM |

My friend has a dog that acts like a cat and cats that act like a dog. | February 24, 2004, 3:26 AM |
Yoni | A cat can imitate a dog. That's not emulation or downgrade, it's mockery.
People are way smarter than cats.
Highly arguable. | February 24, 2004, 4:32 AM |
mejal |
Mejal has bathed her cat, and he seems to have liked it.
I do not agree that he liked it. He had no choice. He had crash landed in cow dung and looked like the white cat above, but brown. After that he had avoid to bath:( | February 24, 2004, 6:28 AM |
MrRaza |
Haha. Nice. Good kitty. MrRaza, on the other hand, doesn't understand cats.
Well, it'd be hard for him to bring it to me when its 4am and outside and freezing cold and while I was inside sleeping. Plus my cat gets bored with things that don't entertain him, and my dad let him in without my cat bringing in the two dead mice. | February 25, 2004, 4:16 AM |
Mephisto | My cat doesn't try to act like a dog. My cat is smarter than my brother, which contributes to Grok's theory. ;) (I did a small test, which verified it) My cat likes to go out at night, and sleeps in front of our door usually with a few surprise mice waiting for us to clean up. My cat likes the water. One day we went to the lake and she walked right in, but quickly went back to shore. I don't need to give her baths, she prefers to clean herself. Though when I need to give her a bath I just let her go into a light shower and she seems to love it. My cat behaves. ;) Cats are also better because they give you the struggle to get their own respect and getting them to listen to you. Dogs sell out and more often than not try to get your respect. | February 25, 2004, 3:23 PM |
