| Yoni | I don't understand the surprise. Linux code is full of profanity as well. It's not in the news because everyone who really cares knows about it already. Such extremely large coding projects are probably going to have this anyway. My first two thoughts when the source was leaked were "Wow, we're going to see a lot of new exploits soon" and "Wonder how long it'll take until someone greps the source for curse words"... | February 14, 2004, 12:18 PM |
| iago | Haha grepping windows source for curse words seems so funny :) At work, the previous programmers abbreviated assignment "ass" all the time, including in http query strings. I didn't think it was appropriate so I went through and systematically changed all of the occurances. | February 14, 2004, 5:34 PM |
