MathType is cool. I installed it today and was immediately struck by its coolness. To test how cool it is, I tried the "Export to MathPage" option and it turned out to have a larger amount of coolness than I expected.

Microsoft Equation Editor really sucks, it has very few features compared to MathType, and I wouldn't complain if it didn't CRASH all of the time, especially in the middle of typing a huge equation. Ugh! MathType is an awesome replacement.

Yes, it can do both. I use Konqueror. But that page is probably doing something stupid. Now that I'm on windows, *tries again*
