Grok |
Gators got fucking shafted on 5 fumble calls. FSU fucking sucks. Thats what you get with ACC refs isn't it?
Nah, only one call. The rest could be called either way. The announcers made it worse by continuing to say everything was a bad call, until about the 5th camera angle would show differently. And ACC refs favoring FSU? Not on your life. You have no idea what hell we go through with the ACC refs. 11 years of every single call going against us. They never call holding on anyone we're playing, and always call it against us. Those refs must think they're there to equalize the game, to give the underdogs a chance. It's insane. Still, what a great game. Leak is going to be a stud. He'll probably get the Heisman in his junior year. Next year is unlikely, since Florida is losing so much talent as seniors. | December 1, 2003, 12:55 AM |
DrivE | Three calls in particular. One gave the Gators a touchdown on what should have been a fumble. The ball popped out before the knees were down and before forward progress was stopped. One on the punt, which was a bullshit block in the back call. One on the Gator tailback when both knees were down and the ball was stripped. | December 1, 2003, 1:10 AM |

Grok | Too bad for me that I didn't submit picks. Other than the Syracuse/Rutgers game and Miami/Pittsburgh, I'd have gone 18-2. Guys let me tell you something about Virginia Tech and why it should've been obvious to you that they would lose. They're traditionally folded their season when they couldn't win the national championship. After they got smoked this year, everyone expected the same thing, and the Hokies didn't disappoint. Virginia used to be exactly the same, going 7-0, 8-0, and then losing 3 or 4 games. Lately they've lost all hope earlier in the season, just to finish strong later in the year. As expected now. | December 1, 2003, 5:32 PM |
