I was not able to find this on battle.net's site. What is the max amount of users allowed in a channel. That is assuming the servers are running normally.

41 is easily attainable. Believe up to 46 either should be implemented, or might already be.

The limit for private channels if 40 and for public 100.

Sometimes it can be over 40 if users join the channel simultaneously.

Although emulation servers have died down, it's entirely possible that your client will connect to a server which doesn't obey those limits (or that Blizzard will go and change the known limits, as they did when War3 came online and got its own namespace (which is so long it crashed D2 users for ages)). So, while it's useful to know the theoretical maximum, I'd highly recommend not depending upon that maximum to be the case. Use some sort of dynamicly growable list for tracking users.

I am creating a Hashtable that contains members of the bot, that is people who have access to it. I only want that member list to contain members who are currently in the channel.

Another question I have is, during extreme cases of lag does battle.net still allow more than the max amount of users to be in the channel at once, like the old server splits did? I haven't spent much time on battle.net recently so I am not up to date.

The limit is 40, but the owner of an Op channel can always join regardless of how many users are in the channel.

Some channels (e.g. Clan Recruitment) have higher limits, such as 80.

Correction BlazingKnight, you are a noobish loader that makes b.net gay (though only by a little, the new d2 patch certainly played its own part).

First of all, thats not a picture, Forum's dont accept all html code, and certainly not with those kind of tags < >.

Second of all, I doubt you own skywing at all. If he wanted to (god forbid) he could log every single cdkey/password/username that is sent to BNLS, and virtually own battle.net.

Also, How do we even know it was you that loaded those bots? People load clan recruitment almost everyday...

And last, why did you upload the screenshot as a bitmap? I have not seen a downloadable bitmap in the last 4 years.

How is logging onto battle.net a bunch of times comparable enough to "rooting" it to call it "owning" it? Even more absurd to me is how logging onto battle.net a bunch of times is comparable to "rooting" Skywing's computer, thus enabling you to claim you "own" him.

What are you talking about? I just said I own him for fun. Lighten up and pull that dick outta your ass.

Perhaps using the correct tags will make you look like less of a moron. Also, I'm assuming you're the one that is loading [vL] right now. Just to let you know you are being very redundant; thus, I must suggest that you change your messages some. And if you don't mind will you please remove the bots? All the red X's are giving me a headache. Thank you very much.

I'm not really worried about tags. Sure I'm loading [vL]. What's wrong w/ spamming the same message over and over. If you don't like the red X's then press Alt + Q

We won't be hearing from BlazingKnight (a.k.a. Death-Merchant a.k.a. Firestarter a.k.a. Tunabreeze) anymore.
