Grok |
By the way Washington State plays USC this week.
Hazard you crack me up. Every week you tell me something like this that just comes out of seemingly nowhere. What is the purpose of you pointing out this particular game? | October 30, 2003, 11:02 PM |
Grok | While Thursday night games are almost never what is expected, I just cannot go against the high octane Boise State offense in this pick. Boise State @ BYU | October 30, 2003, 11:05 PM |

DrivE | The lay-person might believe that USC is South Carolina, but the fact is that the ranked USC Trojans are Southern California. | October 31, 2003, 1:44 AM |

DrivE | We all picked Florida to beat Georgia. Do you think Florida will show us something today? | November 1, 2003, 4:46 PM |
Grok |
We all picked Florida to beat Georgia. Do you think Florida will show us something today?
Georgia had several bad games in a row, which usually indicates an overrated lucky team. Florida has all the hunger in this game and nothing to lose. Georgia is in the 'prevent' mentality at this point in the season -- trying to prevent messing up their nice record and ranking. They have everything to lose and none of the hunger. Florida has much more talent and just needed time to start gellin' (like a felon). Richt is the better coach, but talent, hunger, and abandon will win this game, and I don't think it'll be close. Florida by at least 7. Texas/Nebraska. FEAR is all I can think now. Fear that Texas, who we have loved to laugh at for the last 6-7 years since Mack Brown arrived, who loses all the big games, has ARRIVED. That arrival is Vince Young. He brings the element which Texas needs to go over the top. Texas all the way for the rest of the season. Sorry Nebraska, but you're just the Georgia of the BIG XII. | November 1, 2003, 5:48 PM |
