CrAz3D | Okey Dokey.... (vb6) I seem to be having some trouble logging onto war3 with BNLS & cleanslatebot. I receive a RunTime '9' from Clean Slate Bot as soon as I login, any ideas? | July 16, 2003, 2:44 PM |
CrAz3D | I got the BNLSProc text file & read that, I don't understand what is wrong though. (war3 RoC) | July 16, 2003, 3:46 PM |
Stealth | This began occurring immediately after the 1.05 patch to Warcraft III. There is no solution to my knowledge besides duplicating CSB with code of your own. At the time I played around extensively with CSB to try and fix the error, to no avail. | July 16, 2003, 6:40 PM |
CrAz3D | So it's just BNLS that is able to have War3 logons?....not CSB. Hmm...... Wonder if Cuphead will update this. | July 16, 2003, 7:00 PM |
You could try modifying the OCX itself. Have you tried debugging it, or seeing exactly what message it faults with? Perhaps removing handling for that message could fix your problems. Whether you deem it worth the effort, however, is a different matter. | July 16, 2003, 8:28 PM |
UserLoser | Crazed, try checking ValhallaLegend's homepage. | July 17, 2003, 12:13 AM |

Wonder if Cuphead will update this.
CSB uses BNLS to connect, and at the time of CSB's release War3 support through it functioned perfectly. Since then, something has been modified that causes an extra message perhaps to be sent to the client, and so CupHead's initial code did not account for it and you've got a subscript error. Skywing, excellent suggestion (and something that I didn't try) but I would much rather simply remove CSB and attempt to duplicate its code on my own.. the effort is probably less on the whole anyways. | July 17, 2003, 2:52 AM |
CrAz3D | Hmm.... *ponders* What a concept, Create my OWN CSB type ...can't think of name.... | July 17, 2003, 5:08 AM |
Camel | I wouldn't bother naming it unless you plan on releasing it. | July 17, 2003, 8:13 AM |

CrAz3D | I'm not trying to name the OCX, I'm trying to think of he general name for OCXs, Active X Control. Mind has been dead lately | July 17, 2003, 10:45 PM |
