I will be upgrading this to SMF 2 in the near future.  In preparation for this, I will be deleting bot accounts and adding firewall rules to handle bot IP bans.

As of now, I have deleted all accounts with 1 post or less.  This covers that vast majority of bots but may include some legitimate accounts.  If yours was one of the legitimate ones, you'll have to make a new account.

hopefully you can maintain the vLish look on the 2.0RC3.

If my beloved black & blue vL theme is gone on 2.0 someone is getting smacked.

I've already been working on the css and template files for this theme.  It's rather tedious but I'll make it work.  :)

The 1st maintenance message I saw was somthing like "I hosted it and I can unhost it" or somthing along that line.
Then some weeks later, "Moving Hosts".

nope skywing only redirected forum.vl.com, he still hosts the mailserver and w/e else he has on vl.com. He just needs to forward people that go to vl.com to forum.vl.com, or put back that old frontpage they used to have.

Well I've been working on the theme of this site, but than I got bored messing with the old theme. So I started on a new modern theme, while still trying to use the old vL theme's color scheme.  So  then I decided to keep going with that, since it was more fun than editing the old theme :P
Hope you guys like it.  It's still a work in progress btw. Check out the menu also, scraped together all the sections that used to be on the old frontpage of vl.com.

Looking good, but could you make the difference between new and old threads within a forum have a little more distinction? It should be obvious in a single glance which have new posts, and right now it's not.

Could you change the post author names to the same light blue as the board->category->forum tree? They're kinda hard to see.

Also, the buttons (preview/post, print/send this topic/mark unread/notify/reply) are kind of hard to see. They don't look very interactive.
