Which of you if any are debating about coming back to battle.net for sc2/d3 releases? and if you were to come back will you actually be gaming or just playing with battle.net coding?


Im curious to know to see how many of the older people might be coming back to test out the waters.


to many new people on battle.net when you go afk for a few years everything changes. I miss a lot of the old people like april fools and binarychat. And gaming with some of you vl people and others.

I know some new faces have appeared over the years and some of your aliases have changed but i like to know who might be coming back or whoes already back and i havent noticed since i dont come to this forum as often as i did. and if you miss me im back and a bit more active now so you should send me your new info IE msn aim and such and we can see whats new.

I've been back around for about a year, as for aliases i've had this one since 2002 and anyone that knows me very well knows my before.

I'm actually waiting for the release of sc2 has my intrest as i still play sc to this day.

I used to play melee a lot with the alias ViciOuS[aD] starting from back in 1997 and quit 4 years ago.  I've started playing again but mostly just UMS games and Bnet coding.  I will definitely be playing SC2/D3 when they are released ;D  Probably coding still, too.

I don't think I remember you, Denial, but it is nice to meet you and Welcome back!

I'm not sure. I haven't been logging in lately. I log in every month or so to keep my accounts alive. op w@r might have some people around though.

You don't recognize my name? This would more than likely be the only name someone would recognize me from. I've only been posting on these forums since 2004 though. So I've only had nearly 5 years for you to see my name.

Agreed... I would love to have a bunch of people come back for Bnet2, it'd be pretty cool. Though I guess you do have to imagine, a lot of people have moved on.

Denial, I don't think you're going to get a straight answer from the people you want one from.
I'll be on Bnet, possibly not for SC2 but will be for D3.

As for looking into code, eh well we will still provide the forums for all bot related programming, and we consider the Forums a pretty centric place for that.
Game code.... hopefully they don't piss people off with bugs that need fixing again.  :P Either way, a lot has changed.

ya i noticed no one from vl anwsering the question but if those people from vl pm me that they are intrested then i will go from there. im just trying to get an estimate cause i wish to know who is intrested in so i can conclude them on updates that will happen as they come. and other ventures that i wont display publicly but i will pm you about them hostile.

When I played SC 4 years ago I didn't go on forums much to contribute, rather to read about stuff.  As soon as I get internet at my house again I will be on Bnet and forums a lot more.

I was pretty smashed at a bar near the CDS driving school over there off exit 127 the other day. As for me, I'm still near the airport.

I'm 99% certain I'll be ditching WoW for D3/SC2.
Cannot comment on the coding until seeing the games and whatever interesting opportunities they provide.

I started playing Diablo II again for old time sake. As far as programming goes, I have learned a lot about web development and now focusing specifically on computer science.
