DigitalMedia | Hello, Yello-Ant the owner of ICCup.com has requested help with finishing a bot, as you know ICCup is a Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Counter strike ladder. ICCup as a community needs your help, ICCup spents countless hours trying to provide a fun, fair ladder, and try to keep gaming going in Starcraft, and Warcraft 3. Thats why we need your help, we are developing a bot that can vastly help our ladder to be better. ICCup needs a experienced bot maker that knows the ins and outs of bot making. To put this out front, we will not offer money for this job. To do this will be out of the own kindness of your heart, and to help us provide what ICCup has always have, a fun, hack free, gaming community and ladder. MSN is a must, so if you think your intrested please post your MSN and your previous bot experience. Again thank you very much in advance for helping us. | March 19, 2009, 10:52 PM |
MysT_DooM | Out of curiosity what sort of bot does iccup need help finishing. | March 19, 2009, 11:10 PM |
BreW | This post was quite vague. Potential developers for this "bot" would need to know a bit of information before slapping down their MSN address, such as: • What language this application is being developed in. You mention it's just in need of being finished, so this is essential info. • How much will be payed per hour • What kind of "bot" this is. A little description of what it's goal is would be nice | March 19, 2009, 11:25 PM |
DigitalMedia | Sorry for that, I was trying to see if there were potential people before giving more info. My intention was to msg them on MSN with all the details. The bot will be a custom ghost bot that hosts games on our server, the intention of this bot would be to help lower ping, and keep games running smoothly, if you are interested Yello-Ant will give you the full run down of the bot. But that is the gist of what it is. As for the programming language it was being developed in Visual Basic so C++, our intention was to get a person to finish the bot, where the previous developer left off. Again its for the love of the community so no pay, I hope this answers your question. Again Yello-Ant will fill you in, if you accept this job. | March 19, 2009, 11:48 PM |
