Hey, i'm Stellarchase.

I'm interested in joining vL but i'm not totally sure who to contact.  I'm a full time web developer and server administrator and i'd like to bring my services over to the clan as well.

MSN: msn@chasehutchins.com
AIM: Stellarchase

Hope to hear from someone.

It is just as possible for us to consider a join request now as it was years ago.  It's also presumptuous to speak definitively about the status of a clan you are not part of.

Stellar, why are you interested in joining?  I'm usually more curious why someone decides he wants to join, than in what ways he thinks he will appeal to the clan.

I said it's not a clan "like it was years ago". I didn't want to sit and spend another 30 words explaining myself over something unimportant. You no longer see a number of members of the clan on here almost at all. The clan isn't together on Battle.net as it used to be. valhallalegends.com hasn't updated in years. If you still want to consider it a clan then by all means go ahead. It just isn't a clan "like it was years ago".

I'm interested in joining because i've respected vL throughout my time gaming and as a programmer, and I would like to see what, if anything, is going on for the inner workings of vL, and then contribute to it.

I think that joining, I could in some ways help restore vL to it's prevoius state of glory rather in the less active state it is now.

I'll be completely honest, i'm not sure there are any "inner workings" going on, =/.

Haha alright..

So is this website ever going to get updated?  It's using like... the oldest possible version of forums.. I have licenses you guys can have if you want to use the new IPB or vBulletin?

It's stable, it works. There's no delete post, which sucks, but other than that, why bother?

We're definitely not using the oldest possible version.  it's 1.1.5.  1.1.6 just came out last week and it's in beta...

Plus, ipb and vbulletin are terrible

Actually SMF specially here is updated to the lastest, I wouldn't use anything other then SMF myself, vbbulletin/IBP are to bulky for my taste, It's just these forums havent added any extra themes, its okay though the classic looks great! :)

personally, IPB/vbbulletin are easier to get hacked, I've found more exploits on those then i have for SMF
