Camel | Got EID_BROADCAST on two different servers ~ 5 minutes apart from each other: This Battle.net server is going down for maintenance. Please connect to another server. My theory is that they've pushed new server code to support new features for SC2. | June 30, 2008, 3:42 PM |

BreW | Maybe they're fixing that problem where it doesn't report any members higher than a peon in an 0x7D request if it's full, and this too:
[01:49:42 PM] You must supply a user name and a valid program id. [01:49:42 PM] Valid program ids are: [01:49:42 PM] STAR - StarCraft [01:49:42 PM] SEXP - StarCraft Broodwar [01:49:42 PM] W2BN - WarCraft II Battle.net Edittion [01:49:42 PM] WAR3 - WarCraft III [01:49:42 PM] W3XP - WarCraft III The Frozen Throne [01:49:42 PM] Example: /stats joe STAR
mmm... who knows? | June 30, 2008, 5:51 PM |
Ringo | Europe went down 2 times today, 4 hours apart. So what ever they are doing, they didn't get it right the 1st time round. Probly some idiots running around in the server room and a blizz worker tripped and fell onto the big red button labled "pretend to do maintenance"
and this too:
[01:49:42 PM] You must supply a user name and a valid program id. UserLoser | this thread is funny. everynow and then i'm sure the computers that the servers run on have to be restarted...hardware maintenance/software upgrades... | July 1, 2008, 3:45 AM |
Alendar | Interesting typo finding. | July 1, 2008, 4:41 AM |

Camel | Well, W3 1.22 was pushed today. Maybe there were server updates required for something? | July 1, 2008, 11:24 AM |

Zakath | Nah, Blizzard's servers can see the future. They know on which date as yet unfinished patches will eventually be released. So it must have been something else. :P | July 2, 2008, 1:53 AM |
yeah, the servers were updated to know about the newer version probably
A) The servers were restarted a full day before the new patch was pushed B) There is pretty strong evidence that suggests there is no need for a server restart to push a new game update - it's just a new BNFTP file and verbyte in most cases | July 3, 2008, 10:46 PM |
