Battlegroup9 is a large group of some of the best PvP'ers in WoW, including Team rupture/nurfed, Pandemic, etc.  Many other great players too.

basically, vhell and ghwrin want to find somebody willing to put the time and effort into coding a very demanding back-end without being paid to do so. they're hoping somebody will just want to do it. they didn't even have a language in mind, and also didn't even know what host they used. they need to figure those things out before trying to recruit coders. :P

well, i'm kind of working out a cool deal. i've offered to code it in python, if they purchase hosting from my company. pure business, son! do work!

Writing a back-end server in python? Sounds intense...

not sure what you mean by back end server, but no - they want a back end for their website. and in python - django? easier than visual basic, if you ask me. :P
