Hi, i know its not straight about bots, but it has much to do with w3 netcode and i dont really know where else to post this :(

I was just thinking about developing some utility which will be able to connect people playing w3 directly in the same way as lancraft did (by IP).
The problem is, lancraft is not working anymore on patch 1.21 (the only version i found is 1.01b, from year 2002 so no wonder)...

Does anybody have some experience with it ? Or is it even possible ? I would appreciate any information about that or any investigation progress, or even an utility, which actually works on latest patch (i know battlelan but this isnt what im looking for).

Use Hamachi. It accomplishes what I think you're looking for.
