Chronix | I'm having problems when going to certain web pages. Say I go to yahoo.com and log into my domain account management page and I click on a link, well all of the links time out, what could be wrong? Many site's are doing this, mostly sites with account management information on them; worldofwarcraft.com, paypal.com and yahoo.com are just a few. *NOTE: The sites work just fine on all of my other systems. I would really appreciate any help at all, as I have been dealing with this problem for a very long time. The only thing I believe would fix this is reformatting my HD (which I would rather not have to do). | September 27, 2007, 3:56 AM |
Denial | sounds like a dns issue with your isp. let me guess you have comcast? | September 27, 2007, 11:17 AM |
iago | Yeah, definitely sounds like a DNS issue. Try manually seeing your DNS server to 4.2.2.1 or 4.2.2.2. | September 27, 2007, 3:04 PM |
Chronix | Well I fixed my problem by formatting the HD. And no, I don't have comcast, my overly dedicated ISP would be cox.net :) (business service, which is almost equivalent to T1). I use the bandwidth to host counter-strike servers. | September 28, 2007, 5:15 AM |
