Hi everyone! My name is Eric and I finally registered to great community. I've been sneaking around for a while now but I'm a little shy and I wanted to have something to contribute before I bothering you folks with questions. Anyhow I've gotten a lot of great info from here and I hope I can give back. I've been researching the D2GS protocol, writing a sniffer and classes to parse and generate the packets (known to some as D2 Smells), in the hopes of eventually using this to make a game bot and player utilities (which would be a separate project reusing some of the code...) Seeing as I got most usable info from here and this community seems most active (and friendly), it only seems fair and logical that I hang around here instead of other sites that shall remain unnamed. Well long story short I'm also trying to build a documentation and want to help update the BnetDocs. Suggestions as to the best way to do this are welcome. In the mean time, I'll try to answer specific questions asked in the forums and for which I have answers.

It depends on what server/time of day you get on (as we can see from Spht's Clan Gnome)... And Bnet2.0 will bring many new users (SC2/D3).
