Hell-Lord | Hi some people here may now me but majority will not. I am Hell-Lord@Uswest and have been for like 6 or so years :) I code in VB6 and a little in C++ | February 3, 2007, 10:25 AM |
Topaz | What is with your personal text? PB>C++>VB6>.NET? Lead is better than C++ which is better than VB6 which is better than .NET? Look, if VB6 was better than C#/VB/J#/mC++/IronPython .NET, they wouldn't have bothered making them VB6 is suck, k? | February 4, 2007, 1:23 AM |
Barabajagal | PB is PowerBASIC: a version of BASIC made by the creators of TurboBASIC. It's unbloated, uses no external files unless you add API calls, compiles to tiny code that's purely native. It's small, efficient, and better than any other language I've seen, except the original C. | February 4, 2007, 1:26 AM |
Hell-Lord | it looks like you think i said vb6 is better than C++ is that what you though? | February 4, 2007, 1:27 AM |
Barabajagal | No, it's not what he said. To cut down on the excess, he said "VB sucks, what does PB stand for?" | February 4, 2007, 1:29 AM |
Topaz | http://www.powerbasic.com/aboutpb.asp which is lol Read my post again and maybe you'll figure out what I was saying, I did *not* ask what PB stood for. | February 4, 2007, 1:30 AM |
Hell-Lord | The only disappointing things about PB is it's IDE and syntax otherwise it is very very good like Andy explained above. | February 4, 2007, 1:32 AM |

[/quote] Then why did you guess "Lead"? (I know PB is Lead's symbol, but a chemical element doesn't fit the pattern, now does it?) | February 4, 2007, 1:34 AM |
Topaz | Because I didn't know what PB stood for. Is it that hard to understand? | February 4, 2007, 1:37 AM |
Hell-Lord | Now that you do arguments over? :P | February 4, 2007, 1:38 AM |
