BaDaSs | Would be nice to get a response from an actual BnetDocs maintainer... Could we please? | November 23, 2006, 6:08 PM |

l2k-Shadow | it would be nice if there was a zip file available for dl in case like this. | November 23, 2006, 6:45 PM |
I already spoke with him earlier, he said MySQL is down--AFAIK, he has no control over the MySQL server | November 23, 2006, 7:09 PM |
BaDaSs | If he has control over the website, I can easily create him a remote SQL Server. That is if he actually has the database backed up on his computer or something. Or has a way to transfer it over. Not sure if thats the way he would want to go though lol. | November 23, 2006, 8:27 PM |
IIRC, MySQL server is hosted somewhere on valhallalegends.com which he does not have access to. He has database read/write access and such, but not access as in starting/stopping the server | November 23, 2006, 8:48 PM |
BaDaSs | Right, all he needs is an SSH terminal account that would allow him to do so. Not hard really... | November 23, 2006, 9:38 PM |

Arta | I'm looking into it. The MySQL server that BnetDocs uses is not under my control. vL will soon have a new server, running its own instance of MySQL, at which point I will be able to diagnose these kinds of problems. A new version of BnetDocs is also ready to be deployed as soon as we have a server running PHP5. I have asked for the problem to be looked into and will let you know as soon as I have any new information. Sorry for the inconvinience. | November 23, 2006, 10:31 PM |

l2k-Shadow | hmm back on topic.. Arta would it be possible to make a zip of bnetdocs and upload it somewhere in case the site goes down? | November 25, 2006, 12:16 AM |
Ersan | It's scripted in an interpreted language, and it uses a mysql table, zipping it really doesn't make sense... If you want to copy all the processed html you can do that yourself. I think IE can do it automatically. | November 25, 2006, 3:43 AM |
HeRo | I may have bnetdocs zipped and I may be able to upload it for you, PM me. | November 25, 2006, 6:01 AM |
ZergMasterI | Looks like someone has a back-up of BnetDocs: http://www.aznsoulja.com/bnetdocs/ Unless this was posted somewhere else on this forum and I haven't seen it yet (very highly possible :(). | March 19, 2007, 11:36 PM |
ZergMasterI | Woops, I found where it was posted before: https://davnit.net/bnet/vL/index.php?topic=16503.msg166892#msg166892 <_< | March 19, 2007, 11:38 PM |

It's easily defeated, but I'm not posting how. | March 20, 2007, 2:30 PM |
Ersan | lol, there's nothing to post... just don't download 4 pages a second - it's not a very effective 'system' | March 20, 2007, 2:38 PM |
While the question was intended for Arta, I hope it will not be offensive if I take the liberty to answer it. Yes, there is a download link for the BNETDocs, albeit not offical. http://ersan.us/src/bnetdocs-112906.zip I'm also mirroring the file at: http://www.dementedminds.net/archives/bnetdocs-112906.zip | April 1, 2007, 8:37 AM |
