Networks | So my brilliant dad who knows very little about computers messed with the resolution options on the monitor, things like: v-center, pincushion, etc. I've never learned how to reset your monitor display when people purposely screw it up and now apparently I need to as my dad messed things up. So, I need to know how to reset these options so my monitor looks right once again. It's some Dell monitor that comes with a dimension 8300 desktop. (Not LCD) Thank you in advance. | September 4, 2006, 5:40 PM |
Yegg | Isn't there a button(s) on the outside of the monitor for that? Or did I misunderstand you? | September 4, 2006, 6:03 PM |

How much worse could it get? IIRC, my monitor, of atleast one of my monitors if not more than one has an option on it to reset all values back to factory default. | September 4, 2006, 6:45 PM |
Quarantine | Try having a brother screw with Resolutions and refresh rates and having your monitor (LCD) flicker or turn off after 5 seconds.. Annoying++ | September 4, 2006, 7:23 PM |

JoeTheOdd | I doubt this will work, but hey, whatever. Unplug it for five minutes. Re-plug it in. Try again. Note: It works to reset TV's, although I kind of doubt monitors are alike. | September 7, 2006, 11:49 PM |
