Well, i read a review that shows that the conroe dosen't just perform better on windows but linux as well http://www.linuxhardware.org/article.pl?sid=06/08/22/0415251&mode=thread i myself figured it would becuase the design of it just changes how it processes data dosent matter which operating system it uses but i could be wrong.
