Anyone point out one that helped them ?

I found several good posts and links about it.  Here's a hint: use the search string "socks4".

... Unbelievebly, I hadn't tried that, thought results would be too narrow... I tried "socks4 proxy support", "adding socks4 support", and "adding proxy support"...
