Of course, thousands of kids died of starvation yesterday.  But we don't talk about them.

But yeah, it sucks for the family.

Not to mention Asia.

And don't forget the tsunami that hit the southern coast last year, wiping out villages.  People who survived are left with nothing so they and their children are still starving to death.

It's logical we are more impacted by the TYPE of death and WHERE it is.

[/quote]Have you ever wondered why they pit them into little cars? It's because they can't afford big cars. I'm not mexican, but I do come from a large poor family, and I know what it's like to fit 8 people into a little car that has 5 seatbelts. Don't diss poor people.

Well, People shouldn't have large familys they can't take care of, infact they should wait to have kids untill they know there are finnacly stable instead of poping out 10 kids in 10 years, to live in a 1 bed room house.

Just because you have a large poor family doesn't mean you're in a 1 bedroom house and/or not "financially stable". Some people aren't lucky enough to get paid huge salaries to pay for huge homes and huge (eg, gas guzzling) cars. I quite agree that parents shouldn't have many kids unless they can be cared for, but there is a difference between not being taken cared for and not living luxuriously, and it's quite a big one. Even though some children of those families might not want to be part of that large of a family if they had had a choice (myself included), that doesn't mean that they don't love their family or that they don't grow to be productive members of society. If the children are all conceived consensually (even if "unexpectedly"), then I believe it to be immoral to abort any of them especially if the parents believe they can provide a caring environment for the children.

It's neither illegal nor immoral to have a large poor family.

But if you already have a few kids and continue to make them and you are already having some probelms then I have a hard time feeling sorry for you too. Yes, there are things like triplets, and other unexpcted issues, but say you have four or five kids and money is already tight, but your wife just got pregnant with six, I can't feel that bad. I'm not saying abort kids, I'm just saying it's best to plan before hand.
