I'm not sure if 'adware' is the term for it. Maybe it's spyware. I don't really know. It's unwanted though and that's for sure. Have any of yall experienced this annoying trojan - I guess I will call it that.

It was related to "Spyaxe," the trojan I believe. Every 10 seconds that icon in my tray down there creates that popup box. If you click on it, it takes you to a site advertising "Spyware strike." It's some anti-spyware program - go figure. Another thing it does is install the "Spyware strike" program every hour or something. I was just wondering if anyone has had this. I can't find any processes in the task manager that are related to this. There was one website detailing this Spyware strike program as a problem. I CANT REMOVE IT. :-(

Norton hasn't stopped it, The Cleaner hasn't stopped it, Ad-Aware hasn't stopped it and neither has Spybot.

Happened to me too, I had to manually remove the dll's, reg keys and the exe. You can call it malware.
After you get all the info on how to remove this you should disconnect from the internet. Remove this in safe mode.
