laurion | I was looking at this fan http://www.newegg.com/product/Product.asp?item=N82E16835151122 I just need a quiet fan that keeps my computer from melting. :) Anyways, seemed like a cheap, working alternative -- however, for compatibility it says Celeron D ~ 2.93 GHz 340J. Mine is an Intel Celeron D 330 2.66GHz (2.80 GHz if I right click on my computer). Will the fan + heatsink be compatible? | December 18, 2005, 1:06 AM |
Yegg | I don't know the answer to your problem. But this thread should porbably be in the Computer Support Issues forum. Just so that we make better use of the new forum. | December 18, 2005, 1:18 AM |
laurion | Right. Well I already bought it, lets hope for the best.. ;D | December 18, 2005, 1:24 AM |
LoRd | The speed is given based on the heat output of that processor class and has nothing to do with compatability. The fan you've chosen will support the Intel Celeron D processor and is best used with a processor speed equal to or under 2.93 GHz. | December 18, 2005, 11:21 AM |
