CrAz3D | http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/americas/12/14/canada.martin.reut/index.html Maybe the ambassador shouldn't've said to not talk about US issues in their election, but what I don't understand is why they are doing it. Maybe the lumber subsidies, that hurts their economy, but US policy on pollution & what not?...get over it. & see, I knew the Canadian government fell last month http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/americas/12/14/canada.martin.reut/index.html | December 14, 2005, 9:59 PM |

There are people going into bankruptcy and losing everything they own because of US policies (fishing, lumber, cattle, etc.). It's a major issue up here, and it is something that is important in politics.
& see, I knew the Canadian government fell last month http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/americas/12/14/canada.martin.reut/index.html
Am I missing something? That's the same article, and Paul Martin, who's been our leader for 1 year and 2 days now, is still in charge. There's an election coming up, which is the time when we vote for a new leader.. is that what you're talking about? | December 14, 2005, 11:00 PM |

Yeah, 2nd link was copied right. http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/americas/11/28/canada.government/index.html THAT story is the one about how Martin's government collapsed | December 15, 2005, 12:26 AM |

He explains it much better. Is it a surprise to you that the economy of one country depends on the economy of the countries around it, though? | December 15, 2005, 12:41 AM |

That doesn't mean that people who depend on the US for survival are going to be okay, though.
Rule's post? CrAz3D | Yeah, I feel for the people, but maybe they should work harder/better/different to make their lumber money k? | December 15, 2005, 12:49 AM |
iago | It's still an important issue. And it's not only about lumber, especially while election campaigns are going on (which they are). | December 15, 2005, 5:48 AM |
