JoeTheOdd | Alright, I'm going to do exactly what I say not to do: make my first major project in C++ a bot. However, not a binary bot (at first), an IRC bot. Anyhow, I'm looking for a team of C++ programmers who know the bare bones of the language (IE: You can write anything up through a binary converter, basically). The name of the bot is JoeBot: Super Good Edition (which will clearly be changed). I suppose I'd make it open source, but if you'd like to join the team but have it closed source, that can be done too, I guess. Anyone want to join? | October 13, 2005, 11:50 PM |
mynameistmp | Why C++ instead of C ? Generally curious... | October 17, 2005, 9:13 AM |
shadypalm88 | Or why does it seem that you're forcing a language choice on a particular project instead of starting with an idea for a project and then picking the best language(s) to create it with? And Battle.net bot development has basically run dry, are there no interesting things outside of it that you can think to work on? | October 17, 2005, 9:19 PM |
