New AMD Athlon x2 came out, if you havent heard of it, you can check it out @ amd.com, anyways it has 2 cores, it ranges from 3800+ to 4800+ @ 800bucks. It is optional if you want to use both cores, ive seen players in cS use it and they look like there "speed" hacking.  So now on AMD rules intel atm.

I doubt movement in this game is constrained more by processing than connection bandwidth/speed.

Well, if your gettickcount was moving faster then normal, you could go faster in cs..

GetTickCount is (virtually) independent on CPU speed.  Faster processing will not affect its value (with the exception of extreme conditions).

This is old news, anyway screw the x2... pentium d is out too, x2 out performs it but the price of the pentium d chips is way less and pentium d still rocks hard.

X2 has been out for over a month now.
