The black ipod nano is the least ugly ipod product to date. Congratulations to apple.

I'd be content with just a 4gb Ipod mini. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to go all out and get a fancy shmancy one that looks nice.

I think the Rokr would be MORE pimp though...esp if it held more songs than it will (100)...eww.

I actually got the chance to play with one the other day, my uncle got two of them to see how they were. I have to say I was impressed by it, however for me the click wheel is too small.

I managed to get a hold of one today from my uncle, here's some pictures of the 4gb in black.

It does, this girl had one at school and she got it engraved or something online when you order it. It was neat. I heard it's REALLY REALLY durable.

ive seen the ipod nano in person, i dont want it. sure, its pretty cool, but i know if i had it id either lose it or break it. its .27 of an inch think, ive got pencils thicker than that; and my computer mouse is wider and longer than it too so its real small. its basically an mp3 player for asians.

There's no point in getting it.  What advantages does it have over the current ipod other than being smaller, as if that is a feature?  It doesn't fit into any useful places that the regular ipod doesn't.  It wasn't like the normal ipod was heavy in the first place; the weight drop from five ounces to two is not really noticeable.

I suppose you're right, but the fact of the matter is that it's totally unnecessary; they're all materialists.

About a month ago, I purchased an iPod 20 GB color. I almost wish I had waited and saved the money on a nano, because I know that I'll never fill 20 GB :p. Oh well...

Yeah, but then again, a lot of those poor people feel the need to keep up-to-date with the latest fashion trend(s); I find it distasteful.

Nanos are too small. This kid has one, and I'm tempted to break it in half everyday he has it, just out of spite.
